What is a micro data center?

A modular micro data center (MMDC), also known as an EDGE Data Center, is a solution consisting of server cabinets with full data center capabilities, such as: cooling systems, UPS, monitoring and control, fire detection and suppression systems, and access control.

What is Fog Computing?

Fog Computing is a term coined by Cisco Systems in 2014. Fog computing is a standard defining how EDGE Computing should operate, facilitating compute, storage, and networking services between end devices and Centralized or Cloud Data Centers.
